Install and onboard

Install from Shopify, confirm the USD plan, choose markets and goals, sync the catalog, run readiness, create or review a buyer persona, and complete the first evidence-bounded simulation. Optional scopes and theme activation remain explicit.

Catalog readiness

The readiness score is a transparent 0–100 diagnostic built from versioned deterministic checks. Component evidence covers decision attributes, contradictions, duplicates, variant identifiers and naming, sizing, delivery and returns, media alternatives, content and SEO, and machine readability.

Buyer simulations

Choose a buyer goal, suite, persona, and analysis-depth profile. BasketFathom sends only the selected tenant's cited catalog evidence to a server-routed model. Results identify considered and rejected candidates, missing facts, and corrective actions. They are simulations, not observed shopper behavior or proof of causation.

Preview, apply, and roll back

A proposed catalog change is inert until an authorized merchant reviews the exact before-and-after diff. Apply rechecks the source version and records an immutable snapshot. Rollback refuses to overwrite a later merchant edit and reports item-level outcomes.

Finder and theme activation

Configure the guided finder in the app, preview it, and use Shopify's theme-editor deep link to add the BasketFathom block. The finder uses native cart submission and deterministic catalog evidence. Theme activation is always controlled by the merchant.

Consent-aware measurement

The optional Web Pixel records minimized event envelopes only after Shopify consent allows analytics. BasketFathom excludes names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, checkout tokens, and raw search text. Analytics distinguish observed events from inferred or simulated findings.

Delivery estimates

Delivery ranges are deterministic estimates based on the destination, carrier service, fulfilment location, handling evidence, business calendars, cutoff, and observed post-install evidence when available. They are labelled estimates, never guarantees.

Plans, credits, and USD billing

BasketFathom prices Shopify plans in USD. Monthly Launch, Growth, and Scale plans may use merchant-opted capped overage after included credits; annual plans use fixed included credits without usage overage. The billing screen shows the authoritative Shopify-observed state.

Export, deletion, and uninstall

Authorized merchants can request an encrypted tenant export or deletion. Deletion follows an auditable redaction, purge, and tombstone workflow. Uninstall revokes operational access and stops tenant jobs while Shopify privacy webhooks remain idempotent.
